328 / 330 3 Series Stage 1 Supercharger Kit
VF-Engineering supercharger conversion for the 3 Series 328 / 330, improves throttle response and mid range to top end power with a centrifugal supercharger. Whan designing this kit, retaining the original BMW quality, smoothness and reliability were key factors. combining the reliability of the Vortech supercharger and the performance of the GIAC software we have put together the ultimate supercharger package for the ultimate drivers car.

VF engineers have spent well over 12 months refining and testing the system and resolved any 'stalling and MAF' issues faced by other supercharger systems. The software for the kit has been tested from wet cold climates through to the hot arid Arizona desert to ensure optimal air-fuel ratios and knock protection. Further testing has been carried out at VF and GIAC's state of the art dynos.

The VF kit mounts the supercharger with a CNC machined aluminium bracket system, in-line with the original belt. This means the original active-spring tensioner can still function and eliminate belt slip and the need for manual tensioning. The plastic ducting for the kit is manufactured in-house at VF to ensure an OEM appearence, quality and fit.

The VF supercharger system remains fully OB2 compliant and is supplied as a kit with scratch written performance software, all belts and brackets to fit, air ducting, larger injectors, and performance airbox complete with K&N air fillter.

For further peace of mind the product is supported by a 3 year unlimited milage warranty.
The fitting time is around 8 hours and is totally reversible.

As tested on the GIAC daily driven shop car.

[Stage 1] is designed to create 6psi of manifold pressure and give the standard 330 an increase of 105 bhp at the flywheel! ( 200 bhp > 290 bhp at the wheels)

[Stage 2] is currently in the testing phase and is designed as an add on to stage 1, running 8-9 psi with an integrated chargecooler manifold for even more power!

[Stage 3] currently under development, using higher performance, lower compression engine components for the seriously harcore owner.
