Superior Design, Materials, and Construction

Designed from a clean sheet, the new Wavetrac® Differential brings current gear technology to the market. Internally, its gear tooth forms are optimized for strength and improved oil film retention over competitive designs. Our gear package is smaller, reducing overall mass, yet is more durable. Attention was also paid to the side gear/axle interface, putting as much material thickness as possible in this critical area - most important when power levels get high.

Each Wavetrac® Differential is crafted from the highest quality materials available. The internal gears are made from high strength 9310 alloy steel. The diff bodies are machined from case hardened steel billet. To complete the package, every Wavetrac® differential is built exclusively using high quality, high strength fasteners from ARP®, the world leader in fastener technology.

Wavetrac Differential - 335i up to 3/2007

Suitable for both manual and auto transmission early cars with bolt-on ring gear.

Wavetrac Differential - 335i from 3/2007

Suitable for both manual cars from 3/2007 and auto transmission cars 3/2007- 9/2007 with weld-on ring gear.

The new Install Kit allows fitment of a Wavetrac® differential in late-model rear axles of cars where the ring gear is factory welded to the standard differential.

Upon receipt of a customer’s differential/ring gear assembly, the ring gear is separated from the stock diff using CNC equipment. The ring gear is then machined, drilled and threaded to allow bolt mounting to a new Wavetrac® differential.

Suitable for manual transmission cars only.

After a comprehensive development program involving thorough testing in various environments we are convinced that you will not find a superior Intercooler for this application.

Our development program included the use of many types of Intercooler core and end tank designs. At the initial stages we ran two development projects alongside each other, one an air to air Intercooler and the other an air to water Chargecooler system. The air to air development achieved significantly improved temperature reductions in comparison, which convinced us to solely concentrate on this option. At each stage of development testing was conducted using a vehicle in various states of tune. (With and without, performance software, supercharger reduction pulleys, bonnet scoops and performance air intake systems.)

With this Intercooler offering up to a 29% reduction over the original equipment it is a must for those wishing to increase engine power.
